The first days in a new group are not about “getting used to it faster”. They are about safety. A child needs a repeating ritual: who brings them, how you say goodbye, when you come back.
Shorter first sessions often work better than a full day at once. We do not rush tears or compare children.
What helps at home
- the same goodbye phrase;
- no silent disappearances;
- an honest time you will return.
